Abstract

Land kale (Ipomoea reptans L.) is a fast-growing plant and is one of the vegetables typical of tropical regions. Manure (organic fertilizer) can increase the availability of food (macro and micro nutrients) for plants. In other words, manure has the ability to change various factors in the soil, so that it becomes factors that ensure soil fertility. Organic fertilizer (compost or manure) has natural properties and does not damage the soil, provides nacro and micro nutrients and functions, among other things, to increase water holding capacity, soil microbiological activity, cation exchange capacity and improve soil structure. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of providing organic goat manure fertilizer on the growth and yield of land kale plants. This research was structured based on a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with treatments of goat manure doses consisting of KO Without Goat Manure (Control); K1 Goat Manure 100 grams/polybag, K2 - Goat Manure 200 grams/polybag: K3= Goat Manure 300 grams/polybag Each treatment was repeated 3 times in blocks so that there were 24 experimental units. The parameters observed in this study included plant height, number of leaves, width of the widest leaf, length of the longest leaf, and fresh weight of the plant. The results of this research show that the provision of goat manure increases the growth and yield of land kale plants. The best dose is 200 grams of goat manure as indicated by all the observed variables
