Abstrak

The Inspirational Young Papuan Program (PMI) is a social enterprise initiated by Inspirational Youth native to Papua which focuses on economic and entrepreneurial issues of indigenous Papuan people. The problem that the author sees is the identification of factors that influence the Inspirational Young Papua Program (PMI) and farmers' attitudes. The author's aim in carrying out this scientific work is to find out the factors that influence and attitudes of farmers towards the Inspirational Young Papuan (PMI) program. The intended research location is one of the districts in Jayapura Regency and the research technique used is a descriptive method in which researchers collect as much data as possible from farmer respondents and directly check the program being implemented. The population in this study was 50 but the sample obtained was 20 respondents. The data collection techniques used were interviews, field observations, and distributing questionnaires. The analytical method used is a Likert scale to measure the attitudes, opinions and perceptions of the farmer respondents. From the results of research that has been conducted, 2 factors were found regarding the PMI program and also 2 attitudes of farmers regarding the PMI program, namely inhibiting and supporting factors; and attitudes of acceptance and rejection from farmers. And from the data that has been processed it can be concluded that Farmers' Attitudes (Y) towards the PMI program from 20 respondents, 13 people agree with an interval value of 69 -84% and 7 people are in a neutral position with an interval value of 53 -68%. So, it can be concluded that the Inspirational Young Papua program is very good, it just needs to continue to be improved. The most important thing is communication between the Agriculture Service and PMI assistants and the local community.
